Harbor Vale is an independent music project based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, with songs about life, love, second chances, and all the little moments that turn out to be the big ones. It started with More Than Miles, a song the songwriter behind Harbor Vale wrote for his son, and has grown into a self-released catalog that moves between pop, country, and R&B as the stories change.

Harbor Vale is an independent music project based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. It didn't start with a record deal, a recording studio, or even a plan to make music. It started with a song the songwriter behind Harbor Vale wrote for his son. He had never written a song before More Than Miles, and he didn't expect to write another one.

One song became two, and two became ten. Since the first releases in 2026, Harbor Vale has grown to 7 releases and 61 songs. The sound changes because the stories change: No Looking Back and Windows Down lean into melodic pop, Under The Summer Sun takes a more country-inspired direction, and Not My Circus explores R&B influences. Still Figuring It Out is out October 31, 2026.

Music is only one part of life for the songwriter behind Harbor Vale. He's a technology executive and a veteran, and a lot of Harbor Vale comes from real experience: relationships, friendship, loss, starting over, and summer nights you wish would never end. Not every song is autobiographical, and not every story is entirely his. What connects them is the goal of making something people can relate to.

Harbor Vale is independent and self-released, with no major label and no expectation that every song needs to sound like the last one.
